We cannot hide behind a fence of fear and do nothing to socialize only because the conditions that require us to keep a distance and avoid meeting a large number of people. It is very important for us to be able to meet and greet people during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In August, 2020 BBC ETS Tlogosari Semarang held a “meet and greet”. This agenda will be held as a monthly agenda at each grade. It is attended by parents of BBC-ETS Tlogosari Semarang students with the aim of maintaining good relations with the family members of BBC’s students. Because it was to cut off the spread of the covid-19 outbreak, the “meet and greet” activities were held through online. The participants just stayed at home to join the activities.
This event was very fun. There were many activities carried out beside “meet and greet”, namely “yell-yell”, quiz, and record distribution. Interested with prizes given for rewards, the participants were enthusiastic to participate in all programs.. Then, the record distribution came for the last followed by testimonials from the students’ parents.
As a matter of fact, there were 28 participants who joined it. This event was also attended directly by a team of representatives from the BBC-ETS head office in Jakarta, BBC Semarang area manager, academic affairs coordinator and staff, marketing staff and also teachers who had classes exams in August 2020.
